4-wheel drive system

The onboard computer automatically

determines the best mode depending on

driving style and conditions. From normal

front-wheel drive, up to 50% of power is

transferred to the rear wheels under hard

acceleration, while on slippery surfaces,

power is sent to the wheels that have the

most traction to optimise control.

Staying in control

The Mazda CX-7’s Dynamic Stability Control

(DSC) and Electronic Traction Control

systems optimise roadholding on slippery

surfaces and tight bends.

Stopping power

Large ventilated front and rear disc brakes

are combined with a Four-Wheel Anti-lock

Braking System (4W-ABS) with Electronic

Brake-force Distribution (EBD) to provide

optimum stopping power.
