All Mazda MX-5 1.8i, 2.0i and 2.0i Sport models provide superb sound quality with a single CD/radio as standard. A

comprehensive range of optional accessory modular audio components are also available, allowing you to build your

in-car entertainment precisely as you choose.

In addition, the Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe also features an iPod connection fitted as standard. Seamless iPod

integration allows you to select the artist, album or playlist of your choice, as well as to skip between tracks or

playlists, using the car’s audio controls, with the device conveniently located in the glovebox.

The optional premium Bose

sound system* provides the ultimate in audio entertainment. Sophisticated automotive

engineering meets sophisticated in-car sound engineering as Bose

and Mazda engineers worked in harmony to

develop an immensely powerful 6-CD premium sound system tailored precisely to match the acoustics of the Mazda

MX-5. Using digital amplifier technology, coupled to seven strategically positioned high-performance speakers, the

system automatically alters its equalisation levels according to whether the roof is up or down.

Seven high-performance speakers:

1 One 8 cm neodymium mid-high-range speaker in the

instrument panel.

2 Two 8 cm neodymium mid-high-range speakers in

the doors.

3 Two 20 cm Nd

woofers in the doors.

4 Two 8 cm neodymium mid-high-range speakers in the

rear firewall.

5 Digital amplifier mounted below roof-top storage

digital signal processing,

AudioPilot

noise compensation technology and four

channels of customised equalisation switching

automatically between 'top up' and 'top down'.
